There are now 25 people signed up for the open water training day. The final date for confirming and paying is Fri 14th May. If we have the full quota before that date we will keep a reserve list.

An update on this:

A proposed date for this workshop is Saturday May 22, taking place in the Castleknock Hotel. The workshop would start at 10am and finish at 5.00pm, and the cost would be €110 per person (including lunch). The normal cost for this course is €150, but there is a discounted rate if the workshop is organised for a club.

The run session will be on as normal this Saturday morning. The bike session is canceled.

By now I'm sure the bags are packed and the bikes polished ready for the trip so just a few words.

Big surprise there are potholes out there, and more opening up every night, so please be careful particularly on the descents. Could also be a bit of ice on the roads early on. Its not a race and rules of the road apply.
